The Cloud and Automation Engineering team will lead the technology strategy for Microsoft 365, identity, automation, and collaboration platforms in a highly agile and fast-paced Global Enterprise. The M365 Cloud Engineer plays a key role in optimizing IT workflows through the development of new processes in M365 and other integrated cloud platforms, applications and tools. Focusing on automation wherever possible, this position aims to make IT Infrastructure and Operations run smoother, meet business goals, stay secure, and handle growing cloud demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform
  • Manage other cloud platforms and internal applications, including Google Workspace, Cloud Platform, Slack
  • Optimize internal processes through the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of new automation and platform solutions in Power Platform and Azure DevOps
  • Design, implement and manage identity and access management solutions
  • Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft 365 and identity operations
  • Perform disaster recovery planning, risk assessment, and contingency planning for Microsoft 365 and other cloud platform workloads
  • Recommend process, tooling, and platform improvements to increase efficiency, security, and reliability
  • Plan, design, and implement integrations between Microsoft 365 and third-party platforms using APIs, service principals, SAML, OIDC and SCIM integrations
  • Maintain accurate and current platform documentation in Confluence and Sharepoint
  • Proactively analyze security and configuration gaps and provide mitigation strategies
  • Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance activities as required

  • Experience in Microsoft 365 engineering, automation, or identity-focused roles with increasing responsibility
  • Experience supporting global, enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 tenants
  • Excellent technical skills across Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Provide technical leadership during major incidents and platform-impacting issues
  • Ability to coordinate with remote technical resources and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
