We are looking for a new Business Excellence Lead employee to be based in Warrington. Job Summary: In charge of continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion. What a typical day looks like : Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities. In charge of eliminating waste and create value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the site. Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process. Facilitate Continues Improvement Transformation activities through Kaizen, workshops and Small Group Activities. Create and validate processes/standards to drive continuous improvement Coach and mentor those working towards and those who have attained Green Belt accreditation for lean or six sigma Support training at site to expand the team working towards Green Belt accreditation Perform assessment of the site Continuous Improvement Maturity Tracker (CIMT) and drive initiatives to close gaps. Participate in the Flex Business Excellence community forums, sharing ideas, best practices and critique for UK sites to improve together Use Center Point portal as depository to enable data research and cost saving effectiveness The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Typically, 5+ years of related experience. Green Belt on lean, six sigma, Industrial Engineering Teamwork participation to enable continuous improvement. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas Must be able to guide and direct projects and business initiatives. Financial, research and statistical skills to resolve complex and conflicting goals. Ability to define project to business needs, define goals, targets, metrics, data collection, establish facts and problem resolution.
