Our client, a mid-sized UK-centric law firm with a great culture, is looking for an interim mid/senior IP lawyer to start ASAP for 3 months.
Reporting into the head of the firm\βs Brands group and working either part-time or full-time, the role will focus on the branding of new product launches and the rebranding of products and businesses and managing trade mark portfolios across entertainment, advertising, IT, FMCG, fashion and sport. There will also be opportunities to work with music and sports personalities about brand protection, licensing, infringements and on collaborations with high street and high-end retailers. Hybrid working.
Role: Soft IP, with a heavy emphasis on trademarks and some copyright infringement work. Branding of new product launches and the rebranding of products and businesses. Managing trade mark portfolios across entertainment, advertising, IT, FMCG, fashion and sport. Also work with Music and sports personalities about brand protection, licensing, infringements and collaborations with high street and high-end retailers. Handling brand protection strategies, particularly in clearance, monitoring, enforcement, and trade mark and design filing.
Reporting to lead the Brands group.
