The Opportunity
Our client, based in Grove, Oxfordshire, is seeking support within their in‑house legal function. They are a globally recognised organisation operating at the highest level of their industry and need additional capacity during a particularly busy period. This temporary role will run for an initial three months and may be extended further.
The Role
You will support the legal team with a broad range of commercial work, providing essential day‑to‑day support to help ensure the smooth running of the department. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including supply of goods and services, SaaS agreements, consultancy contracts and NDAs
- Working closely with procurement and finance teams to support business needs
- Supporting administrative work such as maintaining and improving contract templates, playbooks and best‑practice processes
- Helping ensure all documentation remains accurate and up to date with legal and operational changes
- Providing general support to the Legal Counsel and wider team as required
What we're looking for
The team is looking for someone with strong commercial grounding who can pick things up quickly, operate with confidence and slot into a fast‑paced environment. You should be comfortable managing varied tasks and working closely with internal stakeholders.
- At least 1–2 years of commercial contracts experience
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at pace
- Confident communicator able to liaise effectively across teams
- Proactive, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for workload
- A positive approach and a willingness to support a busy team wherever needed
Key Details:
- On‑Site: Hybrid, ideally 3–4 days per week in Grove, Oxfordshire. A car is required due to limited public transport.
