Our client, a top international law firm, is seeking an experienced Patent Litigation Solicitor to join their team for 3 months, with a high chance of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for a 4-8 PQE solicitor looking to work within a wide array of technological sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and more.
The Role
Sitting within our clients' Patents group, you will be advising on all aspects of the patent lifecycle, including, but not limited to: patent strategy and pre-filing advice, patent drafting and prosecution, and contentious proceedings, amongst other tasks. The role will primarily involve advising on a varied range of disputes and related advisory work concerning patents.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A qualified IP litigation lawyer with 4-8 PQE
- Extensive patent litigation experience, and substantive understanding across the IP disciplines and procedural knowledge (with strong 'White Book' experience).
- A passion for Patent Litigation, with a solid grounding in its basics, and a commitment to building a career in Patent Litigation and IP.
- A science background is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload, ensuring excellent communication lines with Matter Partners and other fee-earners in the team.
- Personable and confident, resilient and calm under pressure.
