We have an opportunity with our client, an international law firm, who is looking to hire into their Arbitration team for a 12-14 month maternity leave cover.

You will be acting for clients in complex, high profile, multi-jurisdictional and high-value arbitrations under most major arbitral rules (ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, Swiss Rules) and in English Court and ad hoc proceedings. Work will mostly span the energy, infrastructure and consumer sectors, acting for corporate clients, States and State-owned entities in commercial and investor-State proceedings.

Key Information:

  • Experience: Ideally circa 8-10 PQE, but may be open to more senior candidates too.
  • Start Date: Mid-April / early May (allowing for sufficient handover before the Managing Associate goes on maternity leave early June).
  • Duration: 12-14 months.
  • Days: Full time, 5 days per week.
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the London office.
