Job Description
Our client, a mid-sized UK-centric law firm with a great culture, is looking for an interim mid/senior Patent Litigation Lawyer to start ASAP for 3 months.
Reporting into the firm's IP partners, the role will focus on a mix of patent disputes across a range of sectors to include technology, media and electronics. You will be advising on infringement, validity and ownership disputes, the scope of protection of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs) and disputes over standard essential patents (SEPs) – including their licensing on FRAND terms.
Role:
The successful candidate will work on a variety of patent disputes across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on technology, media, and electronics. Recent clients include major industry players such as SKY, Sony, and Nintendo.
Responsibilities:
Advising on infringement, validity, and ownership disputes; the scope of protection of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs); and disputes involving standard essential patents (SEPs), including FRAND licensing issues (principally for implementers).
