Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Investment Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis. This role will support a key project across a range of investment and asset management matters. The successful candidate will bring strong funds or asset management experience, be commercially focused, and able to work autonomously from day one.

- Location: Hybrid/London (1 day per week in the office)
Key Responsibilities
- Fund Agreements: Drafting and negotiating external fund management and discretionary fund management agreements
- Custody Work: Drafting and reviewing custody agreements
- Asset Management: Supporting on commercial asset management agreements and related documentation
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and commercially aligned outcomes
- Independent Delivery: Managing a varied workload with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with strong experience in funds, asset management, or investment-related legal work
- Ideally 5–6 PQE, though more junior candidates with strong relevant experience will be considered
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills across complex agreements
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal accuracy with business objectives
- UK-qualified or foreign-qualified lawyers with strong UK experience
