We are seeking experienced Data Protection Paralegals to support our clients' day-to-day privacy operations and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GDPR and related data protection regulations and be confident working with AI tools such as Harvey AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to data protection requests, including DSARs, SARs, and related privacy inquiries.
- Conduct and document Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), and Transfer Risk Assessments (TRA) using established templates.
- Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROP) and support compliance with DPA, PECR, and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in ongoing compliance monitoring and advisory activities.
- Ensure adherence to GDPR / EU GDPR requirements across business operations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Completion of your LLB, LLM, GDL, or SQE 1.
- Proven experience in data protection and privacy law, including GDPR and EU GDPR compliance.
- Skilled in completing DPIAs, LIAs, TRAs, and other privacy documentation.
- Knowledge of DPA, PECR, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with Harvey AI or similar legal AI.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills.
