We have an exciting new opportunity with one of our wonderful clients who is looking for a Contract Manager/Senior Paralegal to join their Cambridge team. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a commercial mindset and is driven and strategic in the workplace. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex jargon.
- A proactive and independent work ethic.
- Confidence in their skills and abilities.
- Confidence reviewing and using contract templates.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general commercial contracts support - drafting/reviewing/negotiation, escalating to a senior member of the team where necessary.
- General commercial paralegal duties.
- Managing standard supplier and customer T&Cs.
- Helping with enterprise commercial contracts.
- Adding new statements of work to longstanding T&Cs.
- First-level review of a set of templates which they can use, helping with a lot of contract processes.
- Liaising with opposing counsel and confident dealing with internal & external stakeholders.
- Handling MSAs, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, lots of schedules of work, purchase orders and MTAs.
- Managing the inbox on a day-to-day basis.
Key details:
- Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience. (Paralegal min. £17/hr).
- Location: Hybrid, two to three days per week at the office based in South Cambridge.
- Days: 5 days a week, full-time hours.
