Commercial Paralegal

We have an exciting new opportunity with our client. They are a consumer packaged goods holding company operating in the centre-of-the-store, food service, food ingredient, private label, refrigerated and active nutrition food categories. They are home to the UK’s favourite breakfast cereal and muesli, and a brilliant Drinks business.

This job is based in Northamptonshire and is Part-time.

They are looking for a Paralegal to assist the team. The successful candidate will be supervised where needed, but is expected to prioritise effectively according to deadlines and manage their own workload. The primary functions of the role will be:

• Contract management and administration
• Reviewing contracts, completing templates, researching tasks, and dealing with data protection queries
• Legal function administration (including managing invoices and billing/payment for the legal function)
• Company secretary works alongside external law firms
• Electronic filing
• DocuSign administration
• There is potential to get involved in more complex work, if desired.

Key details:

Location: Hybrid. You will be required to travel to the office (located in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire), ideally two days a week (Wednesday and either Tuesday or Thursday).

Pay: From £16 per hour (£14.28 basic and £1.72 holiday rate)

Days: Part-time. Flexible 2-3 days or could be mornings only.

Start Date: 1st October

Duration: Initially for 6 months with scope for extension
