We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a global organisation on an interim basis during a significant period of organisational transformation. Working closely with the General Counsel and HR team, you will provide commercially focused employment law advice across the UK, while supporting employment matters across EMEA and APAC.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative in-house legal team and play a key role in supporting the business through a period of strategic change.
Key Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Initial 5 Months
- Working Pattern: 3 days per week
- Location: Fully remote (Optional office attendance in London/Hertfordshire)

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day employment law advice to the UK business and supporting international matters across EMEA and APAC
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance processes
- Supporting restructuring and organisational change initiatives
- Advising on workplace investigations and employee relations matters
- Providing pragmatic legal guidance to HR and business stakeholders on a range of employment issues
- Managing employment-related legal risk while balancing commercial objectives
- Supporting the business on employment policies and best practice
- Assisting with employment litigation where required, although the role is predominantly non-contentious with only limited contentious exposure
- Working collaboratively with internal legal colleagues and HR to deliver practical legal solutions
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience in employment law
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice
- Previous in-house experience is preferred
- Experience supporting international employment matters, particularly across EMEA and APAC, would be advantageous
- Comfortable operating independently within a standalone employment law role
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, approachable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively across Legal, HR and the wider business
