Senior Commercial Lawyer in Birmingham

Our client, a global energy provider, is looking for a Senior Commercial Lawyer from December 2025 to March 2026.

Description of the role:

• Interim commercial lawyer providing general commercial support – primarily supplier and procurement contracts, technology and data-related agreements.
• Experience with public sector procurement would be ideal (not essential).

You will be:

• Confident and communicative – cameras on in virtual meetings, and the ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders
• Must be able to work independently and “hit the ground running.”
• The team is fun and easy to work with, so a good sense of humour would go a long way – “personality fit is equally as important as technical ability”!

• Start Date: Mid/Late-November
• Work pattern: Full-time (part-time working arrangement is possible for the right candidate)
• Start date: 2nd December 2025
• Duration: 2nd December 2025 – 31st March 2026
• Location: Warwick
• Remote/Hybrid/In office: Hybrid. 2 days per week in the Warwick office (Tuesday is the anchor day).
