Flex is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Finance Manager to drive its reporting, operations and performance tracking. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity while supporting the business through its next phase of growth. This is a key position in the finance team, responsible for overseeing financial processes and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be both commercial and operational, comfortable working with senior leadership team and with external accountants, while also being hands-on in day-to-day finance management.

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified with substantial relevant experience.
  • At least four to five years' experience in a finance role with broad operational responsibility, including management accounts, cash flow, payroll coordination, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Experience working with external accountants and auditors, and confident owning those relationships day-to-day.
  • Experience preparing or contributing to board-level financial reporting and management information.
  • Expert-level Excel skills are essential.
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong grasp of G Suite, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Xero, and the ability to learn internally developed software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy across financial reports and processes.
  • A team player who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves on operational tasks whilst also engaging credibly with senior leadership.
  • Experience in a professional services, staffing, or technology business is desirable but not essential.
