The Role

We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing private practice team. You will deliver high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a range of MSK pathologies, working across our Hull, Willerby and Beverley clinics. A core part of this role is having a strong grasp of intensive rehabilitation, taking clients from initial assessment, through structured programmes in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym, and progressing them right back to on-field/pitch return to play rehab. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in the private sector and is passionate about working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver the very best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert MSK physiotherapy assessments and treatments.
  • Take patients through the full rehab pathway: initial assessment, structured gym-based rehab, pitch/on-field reconditioning.
  • Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes for private, insured and corporate clients.
  • Work with post-operative, complex musculoskeletal, and sporting populations.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across our MSK, neurological, paediatric and occupational health teams.
  • Actively contribute to Flex Health’s culture of clinical excellence, governance and continuous improvement.
  • Support relationship building with patients, referrers, insurers, and local sports clubs.
  • Take initiative in managing your caseload, developing referral pathways, and driving patient engagement.

Essential Criteria

  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 4 years’ post-qualified experience with a strong MSK background.
  • Experience in the private healthcare sector and / or sport rehabilitation environments.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider clinical team.
  • Strong skills in exercise prescription, manual therapy and rehabilitation planning.
  • Confidence in progressing rehab from clinic to gym to pitch environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of commitment to CPD and evidence-based practice.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in professional or semi-professional sport.
  • Familiarity with specialist rehabilitation equipment (e.g., Alter-G treadmill, shockwave).
  • Knowledge of local sporting, healthcare or referral networks in Yorkshire.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff or students.
