Medical Law Services are part of Fletchers Solicitors group and have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team.
Purpose of role: To ensure that our medical records collection product and supporting services and processes consistently meet defined quality standards and satisfy customer and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities for the role:
- Performance of regular quality check and audit of products completed within MLS as required by client.
- To complete agreed number of audits per team per month and keep documentary evidence reporting to Operations Manager, Medical Records Manager & Head of MLS.
- Audit is to include a review of medical record collection process, file notes and communications with third parties.
- Ensure that quality standards are observed through MLS.
- Provide assurance that all products are to an agreed standard and work is completed within agreed SLAs.
- Provide feedback and assist with training when needed to ensure improvements are made internally.
- Provide recommendations for improvement should the same be noted upon audit.
- Assist in the cultivation of relationships with MLS clients by ensuring quality of products.
- Support the Operations Manager to provide monthly data and results of quality audit.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies across all departments of MLS.
- Identify potential risk or areas of non-compliance and working with MLS management team, assist in taking corrective action.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive.
- To have precise and high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of Audits and interpreting the findings to improve/maintain practice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and remotely.
- Understanding of and ability to assist in delivery of excellent customer service.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:
- Experience of Proclaim or other software tools for example Adobe, Microsoft.
- Experience of reporting and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI).
- Medical records handling and knowledge of healthcare sector.
We reserve the right to close this role before the date specified depending on the calibre and volume of candidates.
