Medical Law Services part of Fletchers Group have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team. As a team member within the Medical Records Team, you will provide support to the legal teams within Fletchers Group, requesting medical records, processing incoming medical records bundles, and instructing cases for pagination. You will be a point of contact for the legal teams and the various Trusts/GP surgeries from whom records are requested.

Main Responsibilities:
- Request medical records from medical suppliers in line with subject access requests.
- Complete file reviews to establish the current status of cases and take appropriate action.
- Review medical records to ensure completeness and compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Update the Case Management System with all completed work and accurately record time.
- Chase and liaise with medical suppliers to drive timely receipt of records and progress cases.
- Action emails from solicitors and medical suppliers promptly and professionally.
- Download medical records from emails and CDs and process them according to documented procedures.
- Ensure all records are uploaded and stored securely in line with data handling policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of requests, follow-ups, and completed actions.
- Escalate issues or delays to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
- Adhere to all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and departmental performance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or missing information in records.

- Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
