Are you ready to take the next step in your legal career? Fletchers Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence team.
As a Paralegal in the Clinical Negligence team, you will support solicitors and senior solicitors in delivering exceptional legal services. Your responsibilities include managing a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases from inception to trial, under supervision, and in line with company policies and legal requirements. You will also handle delegated tasks on similar cases, conduct legal research, draft documents, and liaise with clients, medical experts, and other professionals to assist in settling cases.

Main Responsibilities:
- Meet all KPI targets set by the firm
- Progress cases efficiently and proactively
- Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third-party solicitors, and insurers
- Handle pre- and post-issue procedures under supervision cost-effectively
- Complete actions on Proclaim Action List promptly
- Accurately record time
- Maintain client files in accordance with Lexcel and quality standards
- Report to Senior Lawyer as needed
- Assist in collecting and collating medical records
- Prepare client documents such as witness statements
- Manage early-stage Clinical Negligence caseloads and assist team members
The ideal candidate will have:
- Interest and some experience in this area of law
- Law-related degree and/or professional qualification (LPC, BAR route, CILEX)
- Ability to follow guidance and supervision
- Legal and forensic skills
