Paralegal – Clinical Negligence

Location: Leeds/Hybrid. Hybrid working available – flexible working from home and in office.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on all KPI targets set by the firm.
  • Progress cases in a timely, efficient, and proactive manner.
  • Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third‑party solicitors, and insurers as directed.
  • Handle all aspects of pre‑ and post‑issue procedures under supervision.
  • Ensure all actions per Proclaim Action List are completed promptly.
  • Record time accurately.
  • Maintain client files in good order per Lexcel and other QA requirements.
  • Report to Senior Lawyer as required.
  • Assist in the collection and collation of medical records.
  • Prepare client documents such as witness statements.
  • Deal with a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases in the early stages and assist team members with tasks.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Graduate, preferably with a law‑related degree and/or professional qualification such as LPC, BAR, or CILEX.
