Paralegal (Clinical Negligence – Birmingham) Location: Birmingham / Hybrid Join Fletchers Group’s Clinical Negligence team as a motivated and detail‑oriented Paralegal. You will support solicitors and senior solicitors in delivering exceptional legal services to clients, running a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases from inception to trial under supervision. Main Responsibilities Deliver all KPI targets set by the firm. Progress cases efficiently and proactively. Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third‑party solicitors and insurers as directed. Handle pre‑ and post‑issue procedures under supervision. Complete all actions per Proclaim Action List. Accurately record time and maintain client files per Lexcel and quality‑assurance requirements. Report to Senior Lawyer as required. Assist in collecting and collating medical records and preparing witness statements. Manage a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases in early stages and support team members. Essential Skills and Experience Desire to work in this area of law and preferably some experience. Graduate, preferably with a law related degree and/or professional qualification such as LPC or route to BAR or CILEX. Willingness to take direction and supervision from team leader. Proven legal and forensic skills. Good research skills. Attention to detail. Keen analytical skills. Excellent organisational, people and client‑care skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to influence at all levels. Flexible and willing to meet deadlines. In Return – Fletchers Offers 35‑hour working week.
