Location: Southport/Hybrid

Hybrid working available – with the flexibility to work from home and collaborate in‑office when needed. We are looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Litigation Executive to join our specialist Personal Injury team, focusing on 2‑Wheel RTA claims within the MOJ Portal. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload of fast‑track claims while delivering exceptional client care and strong commercial outcomes.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a caseload of 100–150 RTA personal injury files (up to £25,000), progressing claims efficiently from instruction through to settlement or escalation. You’ll play a key part in achieving performance targets, maximising recovery, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and procedural standards. We’re seeking someone with hands‑on MOJ Portal experience, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach, who is confident valuing claims, negotiating settlements, and supporting vulnerable road users. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 100‑150 RTA MOJ portal personal injury claims.
  • Progress claims through all stages of the MOJ portal, including:
    • Initial review and liability assessment.
    • Submission of Claim Notification Forms (CNFs).
    • Instructing medical experts.
    • Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence.
    • Assessing quantum to value claims up to £25,000.
    • Identifying cases that may exceed £25,000.
    • Preparing settlement packs.
    • Negotiating settlement with compensators/insurers.
    • Exiting cases from the portal where appropriate and in a timely manner.
  • Deliver timely progression of files in line with KPI requirements, service standards and procedural deadlines.
  • Maximise damages recovery, costs recovery and settlement outcomes while balancing commercial and client objectives.
  • Maintain accurate case management records, diary systems and file notes.
  • Identify cases requiring escalation, litigation or technical input and refer accordingly.
  • Provide a high standard of client care, keeping clients regularly updated and managing expectations throughout the life of the claim.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in personal injury claims.
  • Knowledge of the MOJ portal.
  • Working knowledge of Civil Procedure rules.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Target driven.
  • Aware of business needs and able to assist other teams when required.
  • Experience dealing with more than one medical report and valuing multiple injuries.
  • Knowledge of caselaw and Highway Code relevant to vulnerable road user claims (motorcyclists, cyclists, pedestrians).

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of Proclaim.
