Overview
Business Analyst – Transformation & Business Support | Fletchers Group
Location: Hybrid — with in-office coworking in Southport, Manchester, or Liverpool at least 1–2 times every two weeks.

In our Transformation & Business Support team, you’ll work at the heart of change, leading analysis across projects and programmes of every size, from tech rollouts to process improvements. You’ll collaborate with people across the business, uncover opportunities, and shape solutions that deliver measurable impact. Main Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for change projects and programmes (of all sizes) from concept to operational acceptance.
- Develop robust business ideas and opportunities using BA tools and techniques such as Gap Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis, POPIT and Data Modelling/Analysis.
- Analyse performance data and model processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply BPMN 2.0 standards to model effective business processes and deliver quantifiable improvements.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to capture, challenge and prioritise change requirements.
- Define and own BA activities, plans, and milestones from solution concept to full implementation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to articulate business needs, ensure feasibility, and support development and testing.
- Provide coaching and oversight to junior analysts to support high-quality results and professional growth.
- Build a positive culture of change by communicating outcomes thoughtfully and proactively.
- Support operational integration of improvements into standard ways of working (e.g. SOPs, training, visual management).
- Track and drive the implementation of changes at pace, focusing on outcome and measurable impact.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the BA Practice (tools, techniques, ways of working).
Essential Skills And Experience
- 2:1 degree (or equivalent), ideally in a STEM subject.
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis (or IIBA CBAP) – partial or working towards.
- Proven experience delivering business solutions balancing time, cost and quality.
- Strong analytical skills; confident in Excel (SQL desirable).
- Familiarity with BA tools such as Jira, Miro, Visio, and MS365 (or equivalents).
- Comfortable with both waterfall and agile delivery methods.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- UK-based with full right to work.
- Willingness to travel to our offices 1–2 days every 2 weeks.
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Experience in the Legal Sector (Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence).
- Knowledge of Proclaim or similar case management systems.
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement accreditation.
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture qualification.
