We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Drives & Controls Department. You'll enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and getting critical systems back up and running; whether that's in our workshop or out on site.

What You'll Be Doing

This Electronics Engineer is a varied role combining workshop-based repair work with on-site customer support.

In the Workshop:

  • Diagnose faults on drives and control systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Carry out high-quality repairs and refurbishments
  • Test and verify equipment to ensure reliability before return
  • Accurately document work, parts, and findings using our systems

On Site:

  • Support customers with breakdowns and fault investigations
  • Remove and assess equipment for repair where required
  • Provide technical insight and reassurance when it matters most

As Part of the Team:

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Share ideas to improve repair processes and efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in drives and controls diagnostics and repair
  • Strong understanding of electronic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • A logical, methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving

Desirable (but not essential):

  • NVQ Level 3, HND, or similar technical qualification
  • Exposure to OEM standards or PLC programming
