Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy firm with two offices in London, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their growing team in a pivotal role. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with the autonomy to influence practice performance and client service delivery.

With a diverse client base of limited companies, OMB's and individuals, you will support businesses in sectors such as media, property, consultancy, hospitality, and professional services. You will play a key role in day-to-day operations while contributing to client retention and growth.

The Practice Manager Role

  • Oversee workflows, staff, and general operations across both offices
  • Lead and support the in-house and offshore teams
  • Act as a key contact for client queries via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Review annual statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT, and SATRs
  • Liaise with HMRC regarding compliance checks and disclosures
  • Support junior staff development and training

About You

  • Ideally ACA / ACCA Qualified
  • Solid general practice experience including limited companies, VAT, CIS, and SATRs
  • Proven team management or supervisory experience
  • Confident using QuickBooks and Xero (TaxCalc experience beneficial)
  • Comfortable handling more complex tax matters including high net worth and non-domiciled clients
  • Highly organised with a commercial mindset and a hands-on approach
