Working closely with the Audit Director and management team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional audit services, developing junior staff, and supporting the growth of the audit function. You will be hands-on with client work while helping shape the team’s future.
- Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
- Review accounts and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
- Support the Audit Director with supervision, team training, and development initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Help allocate workloads across the team and manage resource planning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and identifying new opportunities.
- Deliver internal CPD training and stay up to date with legislative changes.
- Contribute to team best practices and efficiency initiatives.
- Begin building your own portfolio of clients to manage and grow.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Proven experience leading audits from planning through to sign-off.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture.
