Working within a great team you will take ownership of a varied portfolio, providing statutory accounts, bookkeeping and some management accounts services to owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors. ACCA Study Support if required The Assistant Accountant Role Manage a portfolio of clients. Prepare quarterly management accounts for selected clients. Prepare statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients Manage bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio. Quarterly VAT returns Support clients using Xero, Sage and Cloud based accounting solutions. About You Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential Strong bookkeeping experience. Experience preparing statutory accounts Experience reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping. Experience using cloud based technologies Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication skills and the confidence to manage your own portfolio.
