An Accounts Senior opportunity in the Esher area for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional seeking a client-facing role within a specialist firm working with high net-worth clients. Our client is a highly regarded boutique accountancy and tax advisory practice with a client base both in the UK and internationally. The firm operates with a highly personalised relationship-led approach combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of its client base. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit high-performing team where quality of service and attention to detail are paramount and where you will work closely with Partners while developing your own portfolio.
The Role
As an Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients delivering high-quality compliance work alongside some exposure to advisory assignments while building trusted long-term relationships. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients ensuring a proactive and responsive service
- Preparing statutory accounts and Corporation Tax computations
- Reviewing bookkeeping to maintain an accurate real-time financial position
- Acting as a key client contact providing clear and commercially aware guidance
- Supporting Personal Tax compliance and assisting with ad hoc advisory work
You will work closely with senior leadership with the opportunity to increase your involvement in advisory work over time.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong grounding in accounts and tax compliance
- Experience managing a client portfolio with a high level of ownership
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Excel
