Based 4 days a week in the Bicester office, this opportunity is ideal for a Senior Audit Manager or existing RI looking to take the next step towards Partner level and contribute to the continued growth of a regional centre of excellence. If you’re not yet an RI, full competency support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Review financial statements and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Manage, mentor, and develop audit staff, conducting regular reviews and providing ongoing coaching.
- Support resourcing and workflow management across the audit department.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and added value.
- Deliver CPD training and stay abreast of technical and legislative developments.
- Begin to build and manage your own client portfolio, with full Partner-level support.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Confident communicator with credibility at board level.
- Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about driving audit quality and team development.
- RI status (or currently working towards it).
