Audit Manager, City of London £60,000 – £75,000, Hybrid Working

The Audit Manager

Working closely with the Audit Director and management team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional audit services, developing junior staff, and supporting the growth of the audit function. You\’ll be hands-on with client work while helping shape the team\’s future.

  • Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained
  • Review accounts and provide constructive feedback to junior team members
  • Support the Audit Director with supervision, team training, and development initiatives
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching
  • Help allocate workloads across the team and manage resource planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and identifying new opportunities
  • Deliver internal CPD training and stay up to date with legislative changes
  • Contribute to team best practices and efficiency initiatives
  • Begin building your own portfolio of clients to manage and grow

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Proven experience leading audits from planning through to sign-off
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture
