Audit Manager, City of London £60,000 – £75,000, Hybrid Working

The Audit Manager
Working closely with the Audit Director and management team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional audit services, developing junior staff, and supporting the growth of the audit function. You\’ll be hands-on with client work while helping shape the team\’s future.
- Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained
- Review accounts and provide constructive feedback to junior team members
- Support the Audit Director with supervision, team training, and development initiatives
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching
- Help allocate workloads across the team and manage resource planning
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and identifying new opportunities
- Deliver internal CPD training and stay up to date with legislative changes
- Contribute to team best practices and efficiency initiatives
- Begin building your own portfolio of clients to manage and grow
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience leading audits from planning through to sign-off
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture
