Private Client Tax Senior Manager, Maidstone, Kent £80,000 – £100,000+
Are you looking to join a successful and forward-thinking accountancy practice? This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax professional to lead and grow within a regional office in Kent, that has a long-established private client base and an excellent reputation.
The Role:
As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you will take ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio, delivering a blend of complex compliance and advisory work to a high standard. You will be a key figure within the Private Client team, supporting leadership, guiding junior staff, and maintaining exceptional service delivery across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients with a mix of compliance and advisory needs
- Oversee HMRC deadlines, liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions
- Identify tax planning opportunities and areas of potential tax sensitivity
- Provide feedback, mentoring, and training to support team development
- Contribute to business development by building relationships and identifying new opportunities
About You:
- CTA / ACA / ACCA / (or equivalent) qualified
- Significant experience in personal/private client tax within a practice environment
- Strong technical tax knowledge, with the ability to research and apply complex legislation
- Collaborative and confident in leading teams and managing client relationships
- Exposure to clients from a range of industries would be beneficial
