Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional ready to take a lead advisory role within a dynamic and forward-thinking practice?

We are recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join a growing and well-regarded tax team in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and high-calibre portfolio of High-Net-Worth Individuals — including UK res non-doms, business owners, entrepreneurs, landed estates, and trusts — many of whom require bespoke, technically complex planning and advisory support.

As a senior leader in the team, you will manage key client relationships, oversee advisory projects, and work closely with the Tax Partners on strategy and business development. You will also mentor and develop more junior colleagues, helping to shape the future of the Private Client Tax function.

Your Impact

  • Lead complex personal tax advisory work, including IHT planning, residence and domicile issues, CGT advice, and succession planning
  • Act as a trusted adviser to a portfolio of HNW clients, building deep and lasting relationships
  • Provide technical oversight on compliance and ensure quality across all deliverables
  • Support the development and growth of the Private Client team
  • Play a strategic role in shaping and expanding the service offering

About You

  • CTA and/or ACA / ACCA qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior Private Client Tax role, ideally within a mid-tier or Top 20 firm
  • Strong technical understanding of personal tax planning for HNWs and trusts
  • Commercially aware, with strong client relationship and team leadership skills
  • Motivated to deliver excellent service and support the wider success of the team
