Financial Accountant – International Group Leatherhead, Surrey | £48,000–£55,000 plus benefits | Hybrid Working | European VAT and Multi-Currency Accounting A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a successful, privately owned international Group which continues to grow across the UK and Europe, with businesses operating in Belgium, Poland and Germany. Based at the Group’s head office in Leatherhead, Surrey, this broad accounting role offers genuine international exposure across several businesses. You will join an established and growing finance team, supporting European VAT compliance, multi-currency accounting, statutory and financial reporting, and the continued development of financial controls across the Group. A key part of the position will involve preparing quarterly VAT returns across several European jurisdictions and ensuring the correct VAT treatment of imported products and cross-border transactions. Previous European or international VAT experience would therefore be particularly useful. The business is also interested in strong Financial Accountants who have worked within an international, multi-currency or high-volume environment and would like to develop their European VAT knowledge as the Group continues to expand.
