The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

You’ll be working in one of largest PlaceMakers branches across the country. This role would see you join a team of 17 within our Despatch department who ensure delivery of customer orders efficiently, so that they are delivered in full, on time, and in specification.

Daily you will be responsible for –

  • Pulling orders to get them ready for delivery
  • Coordinate trucks in an efficient and effective way
  • Ensuring the loads are strapped/wrapped and secure for transport
  • Serving our customers within the Yard & Drive Thru when needed
  • Monitoring inventory and cycle counts.
  • Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm.

About you:

While trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience is preferred, we are primarily seeking individuals with a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team.

  • Full clean class 1 driver licence is essential, and Forklift licence/Experience is preferred
  • Physically fit and a solid health and safety values
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Great attention to detail and be organised
  • Competent computer and numeracy skills
