Join The Green Team at our Christchurch Asphalt Plant and take your career to the next level! We’re on the lookout for a full-time Plant Operator to be part of a tight-knit crew that produces up to 1,250 tonnes of asphalt daily using cutting-edge technology. This is a full-time permanent role, working a minimum of 40 hours. Hours of work can vary to meet the needs of the business with early morning starts.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Prior plant operating experience is highly sought after; other relevant plant operating experience will be considered.
- Prior mechanical experience advantageous e.g. heavy diesel mechanic/plant maintenance.
- Class 1 full licence essential - WTR and Class 2 is beneficial.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong track record of commitment to health and safety.
