This is a newly created, exciting full time permanent opportunity to join our growing team and get involved in challenging projects.

Job purpose

The Director will work alongside the Managing Director as an integral part of the senior leadership team, leveraging your extensive network of established contacts to help achieve ambitious but sustainable organic growth of the business.

You will build lasting and profitable client relationships, engage with external stakeholders and be responsible for mentoring, coaching, development and management of internal employees.

You will also assist the Managing Director in transforming the future vision of Fletcher Bond into commercial reality to attain medium to longer term shareholder value.

Your role

• Promote and maintain the integrity of Fletcher Bond’s brand image and market reputation through key stakeholder engagement and communication
• Build longevity of existing client base and deliver tangible new business opportunities through repeat business from existing clients and new business origination from new clients
• Take lead responsibility for the mentoring, coaching, development and performance measurement/management of the Fletcher Bond employee team
• Lead on complex commercial property problems, developing a range of innovative solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
• Instil a positive, solutions based, “can do/solve” organisational culture and develop tactical strategies to celebrate successes
• Ensure strong operational management discipline and resilience through robust and effective governance, control and reporting of key operating systems and management processes
• Ensure optimum use of Workflow Max and job cost time allocation in accordance with internal benchmark thresholds
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end invoicing and on‑going tracking/management of work in progress
• Detailed due diligence on distressed commercial property assets, generating a range of strategic options for restructuring and value recovery, supported by pros and cons and preferred restructuring/work out solutions for clients

About you

• MRICS qualified and an RICS registered valuer
• Educated to degree level
• Demonstrable leadership experience, with ability to mentor, motivate and develop a team
• Minimum of 5 years post qualification valuation experience
• Experience in building a professional services firm’s brand and nurturing and growing client relationships
• Track record of delivery, providing expert knowledge of real estate, including valuation principles
• Diligent, conscientious, and highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent interpersonal, research, communication, marketing, sales, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions by quickly assimilating and analysing information
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
