We are recruiting for a Street Lighting operative with HIAB experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for carrying out all aspect of electrical installation and maintenance works.
*Duties include but are not limited to:*
* Carry out a variety of skilled tasks including the installation and repair of Street Lights, Illuminated Traffic Bollards and Illuminated Signs * Traffic Management Operations * Driving/operating vehicles/plant requiring both general and specialist skills * Ability to undertake activities associated with light goods vehicles to include MEWP vehicles * Other ad-hoc duties to fulfil the requirement of the role * There will be a requirement to work some unsociable hours and overtime and to undertake emergency call out and standby when required
*Experience and qualifications required:*
* Street lighting or highways experience * Category C driving licence with CPC entitlement or a drivers qualification card * Hiab/Crane Certificate
*Desirable:*
* G39 certification * HEA Approved * ECS * IPAF qualified * Manual handling * Abrasive wheels * First Aid * Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) * NRSWA Units 1 to 9
Salary: £15-£18 per hour dependant on experience
