Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced Senior Social Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent business storytelling. You should be highly fluent in social platforms, internet culture and best-practice-measurement, with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for clients. You’ll work on social, digital and AI analytics projects and ongoing workstreams in support of these clients.

Key Areas Include:

  • Establishing the structure and set-up of research, measurement, and analysis programmes.
  • Implementing methodologies, writing reports and crafting final deliverables.
  • Providing high-level strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams based on data-driven, contextualised findings and trends.

You will be insightful, curious and eager to share your knowledge with others. You will be in-the-know with the latest developments from key social platforms and have an innovative mindset when it comes to leveraging these in your work. About 80% of your time will be spent on billable work, and the remaining 20% spent on new business and agency initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end execution of projects, managing junior analysts and reporting to the account director.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients and cross-functional internal colleagues.
  • Managing multiple project teams and clients simultaneously.
  • Employing a wide range of methodologies and techniques for collecting, analysing and transforming relevant social, AI, digital and/or media data into impactful recommendations.
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation and QC plans for projects.
  • Escalate issues that impact the timeline, budget, or data quality in a timely manner to Directors on the account.

About You Experience in social marketing or comms analytics & measurement – working with B2B clients is ideal, but not essential. Excellent business writing and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, strategic narratives. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels using both technical and non-technical verbiage. Great at presenting findings to a diverse audience. Able to build strong working relationships with clients, team members and stakeholders. Previous experience in a client-service capacity is preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills Hands on experience using Sprinklr Marketing & Social modules (critical) and other listening & research platforms such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, NewsWhip, Tubular, or Sprout Social/Tagger. Strong understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, including platform analytics, algorithms, and content performance metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Google Slides.

Ways of Working Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent Project Management skills; capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing projects. Curious, proactive and confident asking questions to get to the root of business challenges. Coachable, highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to be flexible and precise under tight deadlines.
