The Role

This is an interim role (c. 3 months), where you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute integrated corporate communication strategies, manage client relationships, and provide high-level counsel on reputation management issues.

As a Freelance Account Director, you’ll:

1. Support and deliver strategic corporate communications campaigns for high-profile clients.
2. Oversee client accounts, ensuring smooth project delivery and excellent client service.
3. Work closely with content, creative, and digital teams to develop compelling communications materials.
4. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance clients’ reputations and manage risks.
5. Support new business pitches, bringing fresh ideas and strategic insights to the table.

About you:

1. Previous corporate communications experience at an Account Director level, ideally within an agency environment.
2. Experience in and a passion for sustainability and purpose communications is a bonus.
3. Strong UK media relations experience.
4. Able to craft compelling, audience-driven content.
5. Exceptional organization, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
