The Team
As a member of the corporate team, you will part of a small number of specialist crisis counsellors who lead on crisis comms – both crisis preparation and crisis response. The team support a combination of pure play crisis clients, as well as embedded as crisis specialists on retained corporate clients and projects.
The team have experience in a broad range of issues including, counselling clients through Public Inquiries and High Court cases, workplace culture issues, DE&I challenges, business interruption, sustainability and product recalls. In addition, over the last five years, the team has built a strong presence in cyber incident response and is one of the leading consultancies in this space with an impressive list of insurer and legal partners.
The Role
This position is offered as a 12-month maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Support the senior team in identifying and targeting new client prospects where there is a clear opportunity for crisis & issues expertise.
- Build a network of external and internal (FH Global) contacts that lead to new business referrals.
- Support on marketing initiatives that build the reputation of FH in the crisis space and lead to new business enquiries.
- Look for opportunities to maintain and grow relationships with crisis clients – either introducing to other parts of the business (e.g. social) or growing the scope within the agency.
- Assist in drafting new business responses and pitching for new business, as required.
- Help drive forward the marketing effort, including coming up with ideas of marketing activities and drafting content, as required.

- Maintain financial overview of specific activations, including providing regular financial updates to clients.
- Work with the senior crisis team to ensure the profitability of accounts through careful fiscal management.
About You
- Extensive experience responding to incident, issues or crisis situations, and advising clients
- Cyber communications/cyber incident response work including knowledge of the cyber landscape
- Writing for incident, issues and crisis scenarios
- Ability to react quickly, thoughtfully and effectively to new information being shared, including on calls
- Excellent experience with drafting media statements and handling incoming media calls
- Excellent understanding of current affairs in the UK, with good awareness of the US, Europe and an ability to understand global perspectives
- Strong collaborator
- Eligibility – you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days p/week.
