The Team: Our Corporate Affairs team plays a central role in helping clients build and protect their reputation across a broad range of stakeholder groups. We work at the intersection of media, politics, business and society — advising clients on strategic communications, media engagement, issues and crisis management, regulatory positioning, executive visibility, and thought leadership. Whether it’s shaping a company’s narrative, managing a sensitive reputational challenge, or supporting long-term brand-building, the team delivers insight-led, integrated campaigns that influence opinion and drive real-world impact.

The Role: We're looking for an Account Manager to support a couple of global household names. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Driving media coverage across UK and international media, including crafting creative media angles, developing comment opportunities, and creating content for media.
  • Enabling clients to build closer relationships with stakeholders by developing and managing events, roundtables, partnerships and briefings.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of accounts by managing team activity, overseeing the delivery of timely, high-quality deliverables, providing feedback and guidance to junior team members, and supporting on budgeting and financial management.
  • Building effective client relationships by using your understanding of your clients’ priorities and pain points to offer strategic counsel and anticipate client requests and needs.
  • Being actively involved in the team’s new business efforts, including contributing to proposals and pitches, supporting marketing activity and networking with prospects.
  • Working with other FleishmanHillard offices, ensuring processes and systems work efficiently and supporting the development of multi-country campaigns hubbed from London.
  • Delivering continuous feedback both upwards and downwards to help us be more inclusive, supporting and effective as a team.
  • Contributing to the London office, global and regional network initiatives and knowledge sharing.

About You: Communications experience in a PR agency, or in-house communications team, with a focus on corporate affairs. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear, compelling materials for clients and the media. Excellent project management, organisational, and multi-tasking abilities. Experience advising clients on reputation, media engagement, and issues management. A proactive, solution-oriented approach with attention to detail. Strong knowledge of the UK media landscape, contacts, and experience building relationships with journalists. Ability to think strategically and deliver against client objectives. Interest in business, current affairs, politics, and the wider stakeholder landscape. Eligibility - you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days p/week. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
