The team
As part of the global FleishmanHillard and Omnicom healthcare network, our UK-based international team is the largest of 13 teams in Europe, offering deep, sector-specific expertise and award-winning creativity.
The team are a diverse bunch of collaborative individuals. Strategists, scientists, industry professionals, journalists, advocates and media professionals, all specialists within the healthcare sector. As creative as they are strategic, with a broad spectrum of talents, experiences and expertise which all come together to tackle complex issues and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
Who You Are
- A digitally fluent communicator with experience in healthcare communications, and a deep passion for digital and social media excellence. You’re excited by the evolving nature of the digital landscape – from the latest AI tools for content creation, generative search optimisation and conversational AI, to immersive digital experiences, interactive content, and emerging healthcare platforms.
- A collaborator and connector – curious, inquisitive, and passionate about creating outstanding, insight-led digital work that drives impact.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented – you take initiative, spot opportunities to drive digital forward, and are comfortable owning client workstreams with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop integrated, audience-first, data-driven digital strategies for clients across a range of therapeutic areas – supporting awareness, engagement, education, and reputation goals.
- Work alongside healthcare comms experts to concept, create and refine social media and digital-first content that is compliant, impactful and creatively ambitious.
- Collaborate with data & analytics teams to define the right research questions, access meaningful audience insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies and tactical plans.
- Partner with paid media specialists to integrate paid distribution into campaign strategies – ensuring channel mix, targeting and KPIs are aligned.
- Act as an integrated partner to coordinate across practices and specialisms to drive a consistent standard of digital thinking and delivery – contributing to a culture of shared learning, experimentation and ambition.
- Contribute digital thinking to proposals, pitches, and new business efforts – helping the team articulate bold, platform-relevant ideas for healthcare clients.
Execution and Performance
- Lead the delivery of digital campaigns across social media, paid media, websites, influencer programs, and emerging channels.
- Work with internal analytics and paid teams to track performance and optimise campaigns – helping to turn data into clear narratives and recommendations for clients.
- Explore new channels, platforms, formats, technologies, and tools – bringing learnings and innovations to the team to enhance our digital thinking and outputs.
Internal Education & Innovation
- Stay informed on digital trends, platform updates, healthcare channel evolutions, and emerging tech – especially in areas like AI, generative search, and immersive tech. Actively share insights and best practices to shape team thinking and future-ready work.
- Champion digital upskilling by supporting and mentoring colleagues.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4-6 years\’ experience in digital/social media strategy and execution within a healthcare communications, PR, or agency environment.
- Experience working across different audiences (HCPs, patients, policy makers, regulators) and a variety of channels (social media, paid, HCP specialist channels etc.).
- Ideally experience working within healthcare and life sciences and understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks and regulations.
- Proven track record of managing multichannel campaigns from conception through execution.
Eligibility
You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days p/week
