Overview: As an Account Director in our Brand Impact team, you'll play a pivotal role in leading integrated media strategy and delivering bestâinâclass programmes for highâprofile global brands. The role: We're seeking a forwardâthinking, experienced Account Director, a media specialist who is passionate about earned storytelling, with a deep understanding of how the modern media landscape is evolving across B2C & B2B channels and intersecting with digital, social, creativity, data and commerce.
- Serve as the goâto media expert for clients, building trusted relationships and understanding their business inside out.
- Lead consumer and brand media strategy across B2C & B2B channels.
- Play a key role in the agency's best practice media and publicity team, leading on all consumer and brand media strategy and helping to develop our POV in an everâchanging media landscape.
- Oversee the development of our approach to new media, including earned media and platformâspecific social content and digital strategies.
- Provide expert senior counsel that drives real business outcomes.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problemâsolving.
Team & Culture: Set direction and inspire teams across a portfolio of clients, championing agency values and high standards. Mentor account and junior team members on best practice media strategy and digital communications through training and knowledgeâsharing. Encourage a culture of inclusivity, curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Business Development and Marketing: Contribute to agency growth by identifying and supporting new business opportunities. Lead or support the development of new business proposals, pitches, and presentations. Build the agency's reputation through thought leadership, content creation, and industry engagement. Expand media and influencer networks to benefit both the agency and clients.
Commercial, Finance, and Operations: Manage account budgets on key clients, ensuring efficient use of resources and delivery within scope. Track and report on account performance, KPIs, and financial status to senior management. Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and risk management across accounts. Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and best practices.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has: Experience in media and digital PR within a communications agency, inâhouse, or as a former journalist/influencer with a track record of delivering outstanding coverage and results for clients. Strong understanding of traditional media outlets, digital platforms, including social media, content management systems, and web analytics tools. Adept at client management and providing strategic media counsel that drives cutâthrough in today's media ecosystem. Skilled in content creation, writing, presenting, and reporting. Organised, proactive, and resultsâdriven, with a passion for new media, communications and innovation. Collaborative, inclusive, and committed to continuous learning. Excited by the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors, including travel, consumer tech, consumer healthcare, FMCG, entertainment, and more. Ready to bring energy, personality, new ideas and creativity to a team that's making a real impact. Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships. Strong team leadership and people development skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and reporting.
Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days a week.
