Role Overview
As a seasoned Associate Director, you’ll play a strategic role managing an impressive portfolio of travel and tourism clients. You’ll orchestrate integrated, multi‑market brand campaigns that span media relations, influencer partnerships, social media, and experiential activations—positioning your clients as essential brands in a competitive landscape. As the day‑to‑day lead, you’ll be responsible for building trusted client relationships through strategic counsel, budget management and project delivery, and leading diverse, integrated teams to create standout work that drives real business impact. You will also help foster a culture of curiosity and play a huge role in building trusted relationships across our business and supporting talent at all levels. NB: This role is a 12 month maternity cover starting July/August.
Responsibilities
- Take the helm as day‑to‑day lead, orchestrating integrated PR and brand activation programmes across a portfolio of travel and tourism clients.
- Craft forward‑thinking brand communications that resonate with both leisure and business travellers.
- Position your clients as the must‑know brands in an increasingly crowded travel and tourism landscape.
- Build and deepen client relationships through trusted strategic counsel and audience‑led brand positioning, to become their go‑to council.
- Orchestrate multi‑market brand campaigns spanning media relations, influencer partnerships, social media content development, experiential events and more.
- Coordinate seamless delivery across international markets and diverse traveller segments.
- Drive new business and organic growth through strategic networking and cross‑market opportunities.
- Own client budgets and project delivery, delivering exceptional service and measurable impact for clients.
- Contribute to thought leadership, represent the agency at industry events, and shape where we go next.
About You
- A confident, curious brand communicator with strong travel, tourism, or airline/aviation sector experience (bonus points for agency credentials).
- A person who can craft a story and who builds genuine client trust and delivers the standout work that drives awareness, consideration, and loyalty.
- A confident leader of integrated teams and multi‑channel programmes – from that first creative idea to flawless delivery across digital, social, traditional media, and real‑world experiences.
- A passionate observer of traveller behaviour and market trends with genuine curiosity about how and why people move around the world.
- Able to span both brand and corporate worlds, to offer executive and crisis support when needed.
- A real collaborator who champions inclusion, feedback and professional development.
- Right to work in the UK and able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days per week.
- Willing and able to travel for work – we work with travel brands, so occasional travel is part of the gig!
