Account Manager (Media Focus), Brand Impact (B2C) – Award Winning Global Communications Agency

We are seeking an Account Manager in our Brand Impact team who is passionate about earned-first storytelling and has a deep understanding of how the modern media landscape is evolving across B2C and B2B channels, intersecting with digital, social, creativity, data and commerce. The role provides integrated media strategy and delivery of best-in-class communications programs for high-profile global brands.

The Team Our Brand Impact team combines creative, social and strategic marketing to produce award-winning communications. We combine traditional media, social-first content, creators, installations, film, events and long-term movements with a start-up mentality of bravery and entrepreneurialism.

The Role We’re seeking a forward-thinking Account Manager and Media Specialist who is passionate about earned-first storytelling, with a deep understanding of how the modern media landscape is evolving across B2C & B2B channels and intersecting with digital, social, creativity, data and commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key consultant for all things media with clients, building trusted relationships and understanding their business needs.
  • Play a key role in the agency’s media and publicity team, leading on consumer and brand media strategy and helping to develop our POV in an ever-changing media landscape.
  • Develop our approach to new media, including the intersection of earned media and platform-specific social content and digital strategies.
  • Set publicity/amplification direction and inspire teams across a portfolio of clients, championing agency values and high standards.

Clients

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for key clients, building trusted relationships through expert senior counsel.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and delivering against objectives.

Team Development

  • Mentor account and junior team members on best-practice media strategy and digital PR through training and knowledge-sharing.
  • Encourage a culture of inclusivity, curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Business Development and Marketing

  • Contribute to agency growth by identifying and supporting new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of new business proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Build the agency’s reputation through thought leadership, content creation, and industry engagement.
  • Expand media and influencer networks to benefit both the agency and clients.

Commercial, Finance, and Operations

  • Manage account budgets on key clients, working closely with the relevant Directors to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Track and report on account performance, KPIs, and financial status with the relevant account leads/Directors.
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and best practices.

About You

  • Experience in media and digital PR within a communications agency, in-house or as a journalist/influencer with a track record of delivering outstanding coverage and results for clients.
  • Strong understanding of traditional media outlets, digital platforms (including social media, content management systems, and web analytics tools).
  • Adept at client management and providing strategic media counsel driving cut-through in today’s media ecosystem.
  • Skilled in content creation, writing, presenting, and reporting.
  • Organised, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for new media, communications and innovation.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Excited to work across sectors including travel, consumer tech, consumer healthcare, FMCG, entertainment, and more.
  • Ready to bring new ideas and creativity to a team that makes a real impact.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships; strong team and people development skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities; commercially aware with experience managing budgets and reporting.
  • Eligibility: you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work in our Bankside office at least 3 days per week.
