The Role
This is an interim role (c. 3 months), where you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute integrated corporate communication strategies, manage client relationships, and provide high-level counsel on reputation management issues.
As a Freelance Account Director, you’ll:
- Support and deliver strategic corporate communications campaigns for high-profile clients.
- Oversee client accounts, ensuring smooth project delivery and excellent client service.
- Work closely with content, creative, and digital teams to develop compelling communications materials.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance clients’ reputations and manage risks.
- Support new business pitches, bringing fresh ideas and strategic insights to the table.
About you:
- Previous corporate communications experience at an Account Director level, ideally within an agency environment.
- Experience in and a passion for sustainability and purpose comms a bonus.
- Strong UK media relations experience.
- Able to craft compelling, audience-driven content.
- Exceptional organisation, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
