We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead Defence projects across our modular construction business. You’ll take end-to-end ownership from project kick-off through to completion, managing programme, cost, quality and stakeholders to keep projects on track and deliver strong outcomes. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, managing risk and ensuring projects meet strict compliance and contractual requirements. If you’ve got solid construction experience, enjoy running complex builds and take pride in delivering projects the right way, this is a great opportunity to step into impactful, high value work within a growing Defence pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, programme, cost and quality targets are achieved
  • Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and provide accurate reporting across programme and financial performance
  • Manage budgets, forecasting and cash flow to ensure commercial outcomes are met
  • Oversee head contracts and subcontractor agreements alongside the Contract Administrator
  • Procure and manage subcontractors, suppliers and resources
  • Ensure compliance with WHSEQ, contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar construction role
  • Defence project experience (highly regarded)
  • Strong across contracts, cost control and delivery
  • Confident using MS Project to manage programmes
  • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder skills
  • Solid understanding of safety, quality and compliance
  • Relevant Project Management qualification (preferred)
  • White Card and current Driver’s Licence
  • Australian Citizenship (essential)
