We’re looking for a skilled Design Documenter to join our team and help deliver high‑quality design documentation for modular building projects. In this role, you’ll produce accurate drawing packages, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and support projects from concept through to construction. Your work will ensure every project meets its brief, complies with relevant standards, and is delivered efficiently and professionally. This role is being offered on a 12‑month max term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce complete design documentation packages for both speculative and live projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, certifiers, and authorities to obtain required approvals and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project briefs.
- Manage project administration tasks including transmittals, submittals, models, shop drawings and schedules.
- Ensure all documentation complies with building codes, regulations, standards and contract requirements.
- Work to drafting standards and participate in peer reviews of design documentation.
- Maintain strong document control and administrative practices.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, productive project environment.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in a professional design environment.
- Qualification in Architecture, Building Design or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of design workflows, production cycles and priorities.
- Experience preparing clear, accurate drawing packages from concept to construction.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, surveyors and consultants.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and technical design capability.
- Strong Revit skills (essential) AutoCAD and TwinMotion experience advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
