We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our team in September, to support children with additional needs, at our friendly and successful Outstanding rated Infant and Nursery school. This role is Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • confident in spoken English, with strong grammar skills to support early language development and phonics
  • knowledgeable about how young children learn through play
  • has experience in a school setting (desirable)

The successful candidate will work as part of an inspiring and supportive teaching team, supporting children’s learning across the curriculum. As an academy within Spiral Partnership Trust, we offer excellent terms and conditions, including flexible leave options and high-quality professional development. We value our staff greatly and are committed to supporting wellbeing and career progression. Many of our LSAs have progressed into Teaching Assistant roles within our school and Trust.

This role is term time only (38 weeks) plus five INSET days, with a minimum of two days worked during school holidays (pro-rata) and is initially on a fixed term basis for one academic year.
