Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HGV mechanic/fitter
Salary:
£19 – £23 per hour (Depending on Skills & Experience)
Location:
Colchester, Essex.

The Company:
Fleetsmith is part of the EJT group who have been trading for 60 years. Fleetsmith are based in Colchester, Essex and specialise in Commerical Heavy Goods vehicle servicing and maintenance.
The Role:
You will be working as part of a small team performing tasks such as general repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles, carry out repairs on small vehicles up to large HGV vehicles, maintain health & Safety requirements and report any concerns or issues, liaise with the team to order replacement parts. You may also be required to attend any call outs to broken down vehicles.
About you:
Have a qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
At least 2+ years' experience working in the repair and maintenance of HGV vehicles within the commercial vehicle industry
Be enthusiastic and motivated
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work within a small team
Have Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport due to workshop location
HGV Licence an advantage but not essential.
