Aerospace represents the best of human engineering. Yet the systems that build and maintain aircraft are slow, manual, and barely changed in decades - and with a mounting shortage of personnel and parts capacity, the industry has to change to grow. We are reshaping how aircraft are maintained and manufactured, to make innovation faster, cheaper, and more accessible across the entire industry. We are already working with MROs on three continents.
The Role
Join as the third founding engineer at Fleetcraft to build the core product - software that defines how aircraft are inspected, maintained, and trusted worldwide. We are already working with some of the largest aviation companies in the world and growing fast. If you want high ownership, real architectural decisions, and code that ships into one of the most complex industries on earth, this is for you.
What you will do:
- Build and ship full‑stack product end‑to‑end - data pipelines, API integrations, and frontend
- Design and deploy AI/LLM‑powered features integrated into real user workflows
- Design, build, and refine product flows that users can rely on without friction
- Own full features from day one, making real architectural decisions
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years building and shipping production software across the full stack
- Hands‑on experience with AI/LLMs in real user‑facing systems
- Strong UX instincts – you care about how software feels, not just how it works
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, or system integrations
- Bonus: prior startup experience
- Core: Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, React
Process:
- Initial Screen (30 min video call with one of the founders)
- Interview (45 min video call with both of the founders)
- Take‑Home Test (1h45 on HackerRank)
- In‑Person Interview
